I'm becoming increasingly convinced that I live inside of a cartoon. I'm not exactly sure why.. I look around at the other characters that I see from day-to-day, and, honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if someone pulled out a giant mallet with, "ACME" emblazoned on the side and took a swing at me..
Maybe this is a function of having a son that's a month away from being 2.. It could also be that I have yet to do things the "right way"...

Junk
On a previous post (one below this one, as a matter of fact), Taco noted that he has a strange addiction to seeing what people's workspaces look like. I have to admin to a similar malady. I love seeing people's stuff. I used to get yelled at by persons I was walking with when passing through the dorms because of my habit of looking into other people's rooms to see what they had laying around and how they were laid-out. I guess there's a little voyeur in all of us. I don't know, it seems to me you can find out a lot about someone by looking at what they have laying around -- usually a lot more than what you'd find out speaking with them.
With that lengthy preface, I give you, links!
Face your pockets
What's in your bag?
Things like the above make me wish I were more interesting and carried more interesting stuff.. Someday I'll have to post a pic of the stuff I carry around more than half of the time..

What Koolaid?
Well, I've drunk the Koolaid, and I'm convinced it was spiked with something tast... *thud*
Actually, last weekend, I bought a new phone. I've joined the nearly ubiquitous iPhone crowd. I realized with all of the junk I'm doing at work that I'd need some kind of "smartphone." I narrowed my list down to either a Palm Treo 750, or an Apple iPhone. After pondering it for a while, I decided it was really about the bells and whistles, and down that not-so-lonely road I traipsed.
So far I really like it. It's very easy to use and rarely gives me cause to toss it. So far, the only thing it doesn't do is tell me when I have new work e-mail. That's not a huge problem as I can hit my employer's web-based e-mail system.
